Something was coming.. she never actually saw what it was, one second she was in the changing room. The next the entire building lurched sideways hard enough to throw her into the wall, the sound came after.
Metal screaming. Concrete breaking. People shouting, then the room came apart, she barely got her telekinetic up before the ceiling started collapsing. It helped. Not much, but enough. A beam missed her head by inches. Something else clipped her shoulder hard enough to send her spinning. The rest was dust and noise, she wasn't stopping the entire building from caving in on her, just guiding debris and anything that would damage her to the side, while missing a couple.
When things finally stopped moving, she was flat on her back staring into darkness.
"...Ow."
Not her most profound observation, everything hurt. Her shoulder especially.. Something warm(blood) was running down the side of her face and she really didn't feel like checking how bad it was.
Eventually she pushed herself upright. still alive, broken concrete overhead. Bent steel everywhere else. The sort of place people usually get pulled out of by rescue crews.
she wasn't interested in waiting for one, a few chunks of rubble shifted. Then a few more, slowly, daylight appeared overhead, then she saw the stadium, what used to be the stadium and arena now an empty crator
For a few seconds she honestly wasn't sure what she was looking at anymore, smoke drifted through the wreckage, It was now completely empty, beside the sounds of sirens and alarms soon ringing in her ear, the tournament felt very far away all of a sudden, She stood there, brushing dust from her clothes while trying to make sense of what she was seeing.
Then she looked up, nobody accidentally does something like this, which meant somebody was responsible and that was a much more interesting problem.
"I'm.. just going to lay here for abit.."
