Mystvale University is the islands most prestigious institutions dedicated to educating, training, and developing the next generation of Humans and Superhumans capable of surviving an increasingly dangerous world. While it maintains many characteristics of a traditional university like classrooms, dormitories, clubs, athletic facilities, libraries, cafeterias, social events, and academic programs; Mystvale's true purpose extends far beyond conventional education. Students are taught how to fight, survive, understand supernatural threats, control extraordinary abilities, protect civilians, and make decisions under circumstances where hesitation can mean death. For Superhumans, Mystvale provides the specialized environment necessary to understand and master abilities that ordinary educational institutions could never safely accommodate. For Humans, it provides extensive combat education, physical conditioning, weapons training, tactical instruction, and specialized equipment designed to allow ordinary people to survive encounters with opponents possessing abilities far beyond natural human limits. Mystvale operates on one central philosophy: having power does not automatically make someone capable of using it. A Superhuman capable of destroying a building can still lose to an experienced Human fighter if they lack discipline, awareness, technique, or control. Likewise, someone possessing no supernatural abilities whatsoever can become extraordinarily dangerous through training, intelligence, equipment, and experience.

Because of this, Mystvale refuses to divide students into simple categories of "powered" and "powerless." Humans and Superhumans attend classes together, train against one another, form teams together, and are evaluated according to their overall effectiveness rather than the circumstances of their birth. The university's training system emphasizes five fundamental principles: Control, Combat, Adaptability, Intelligence, and Responsibility. Students must learn not merely how to become stronger, but when strength should be used, how much force is appropriate, how to protect people caught in the middle of a battle, and how to continue operating when their greatest advantages are taken away. A student who possesses overwhelming abilities but depends entirely upon them may actually receive poorer evaluations than a weaker student capable of adapting to unpredictable situations. Mystvale therefore produces fighters who are expected to think rather than simply attack.

The Camp Ranking System
Mystvale University is not built around a single traditional campus. Instead, the enormous university territory is divided into four physically separate campuses known as Camps, each occupying its own location within the greater Mystvale grounds. These campuses correspond directly with the university's student ranking system: Camp One, Camp Two, Camp Three, and Camp Zero. A student's Camp determines where they live, where most of their classes are held, which training facilities they can access, the difficulty of their curriculum, and the level of responsibility they are trusted to handle. The four Camps are separated by considerable distances and connected through secured roads, walking routes, underground transit systems, and the Mystvale Rail, an internal transportation network capable of moving students rapidly between different areas of the university. Students may visit other Camps for approved classes, events, clubs, joint exercises, or social reasons, although access to certain training and research facilities remains restricted according to rank. This makes promotion much more significant than simply receiving a new title. When students advance to another Camp, they are quite literally moving upward through Mystvale University and relocating into an entirely new environment designed for their new level of training.

✪ Camp Zero: Camp Zero occupies the most welcoming section of Mystvale's territory and serves as the primary entry point for new students. It resembles a traditional university campus more than any of the other Camps, containing broad courtyards, academic halls, recreational fields, restaurants, student centers, libraries, introductory training facilities, and large residential complexes. Most students begin their Mystvale education here. Camp Zero exists to establish the foundations required before students are exposed to genuinely dangerous training. Superhumans learn how to activate, deactivate, regulate, and safely experiment with their abilities. Humans undergo extensive physical conditioning while studying martial arts, weapons fundamentals, Superhuman combat theory, and survival techniques. Camp One students are still allowed considerable freedom outside training. Its residential district is particularly active, giving the campus the atmosphere of an enormous college community.

✪ Camp One: Located several kilometers away from Camp Zero, Camp One is noticeably more industrial and combat-oriented. The comfortable academic atmosphere of Camp One begins giving way to enormous training complexes, specialized laboratories, tactical classrooms, weapons facilities, artificial environments, and reinforced arenas. Students reaching this camp have demonstrated that they understand the fundamentals so now Mystvale begins testing whether they can actually apply them. It contains multiple artificial combat environments collectively known as the Simulation Blocks. Entire sections can resemble city streets, forests, warehouses, underground facilities, ruined neighborhoods, highways, industrial complexes, or wilderness environments. Students can suddenly find themselves fighting in conditions dramatically different from what they expected. The campus also contains specialized laboratories where Superhumans can study the mechanics of their abilities alongside researchers. Humans receive greater access to specialized equipment and introductory Aegis-compatible weapons.

✪ Camp Two: Camp Two is positioned within one of the most isolated portions of Mystvale University's territory. Unlike the energetic atmosphere surrounding Camps Zero and One, Camp Two immediately feels more serious. Massive, reinforced structures dominate the landscape. Training grounds stretch across enormous areas. Certain facilities are partially underground, while others have been deliberately constructed far away from residential zones because of the destructive abilities being practiced inside them. Students entering Camp Two have officially become part of Mystvale's elite, and training becomes considerably less predictable. Camp Three also houses one of the university's primary Noktis liaison facilities. Here, experienced Noktis operatives regularly teach specialized courses involving Kryptid tracking, containment, biology, Aegis Arms, investigation, and actual field tactics. Certain students can participate in supervised Noktis operations.

✪ Camp Three: Camp Three stands completely separated from the other three campuses. Located within the most heavily secured region of Mystvale University's territory, this camp resembles a combination of an elite university, military installation, research complex, and Noktis forward operating base. There is no casual wandering into Camp Three, transportation routes contain security checkpoints, identity scanners, automated defenses, and restricted-access barriers. Students from lower Camps require authorization to enter most sections. Only Mystvale's strongest and most capable students live and primarily train here. Camp Three students are not necessarily those possessing the most destructive abilities. They are students who have demonstrated exceptional overall capability.

Mixed-Gender Dormitories
Mystvale maintains enormous residential complexes for its student population, and its dormitories are coeducational, allowing both male and female students to live within the same dorm buildings and residential communities. Students still receive private bedrooms, providing them with personal space and security. Depending on the residence building, bathrooms may be private, shared between small suites, or separated within communal areas. The purpose behind mixed-gender housing is not merely convenience. Mystvale intentionally encourages students from different backgrounds, abilities, personalities, cultures, and fighting styles to coexist. The university believes that someone expected to trust another person with their life during battle should be capable of comfortably living, studying, eating, and training alongside them. Dorm buildings contain communal kitchens, lounges, recreation rooms, study areas, laundry facilities, small gyms, outdoor courtyards, and reinforced training rooms.

Students frequently spar together, study together, watch movies, cook meals, argue over chores, celebrate birthdays, develop friendships, form rivalries, and experience ordinary university life between the extraordinary dangers of their education. Dormitory placement does not necessarily separate students by Camp. A Camp Zero student could live down the hallway from someone in Camp One. Mystvale intentionally encourages this interaction because younger or less experienced students often learn considerably from stronger classmates, while elite students are reminded that leadership extends beyond combat. Strict rules still govern privacy, harassment, violence, property damage, and unauthorized ability usage within residential buildings. Using powers against another student outside approved training environments is treated extremely seriously.
