In the depths of Vanity City, there resides one of humanity's most populated and technologically advanced places on the planet, with hunters being the biggest source of protection against Kryptids; however, humanity hasn't encountered threats worse than typical Kryptids- far worse than any natural disaster ever known to man. Aadhya stood on top of a building, watching as the next generation of potential hunters arrived with an extra batch of civilians led onto the island like lambs for slaughter, more nourishment for her fellow brethren. She can sense the power welling within those who are already displaying unique abilities; she'll have to analyze their capabilities once they are in the academy. Once she is done watching the ship, she leaps down into an alleyway and walks towards her ride parked near Pizza Hut and slips inside. "Drive to Veyl House International," she says. The limousine drives through the city with a woman sitting inside, with a bored expression on her face that tells of a being who has lived and seen civilization rise and fall many times, but seeing how far this one has risen and remained strong has impressed the woman; these mortals have impressed her greatly but not enough for her to spare them from oblivion, not when the rise of her people is on the horizon.
Her train of thought is interrupted by a ringing, coming from her purse, and she reaches inside and pulls out a slender device with a bat-themed case, something she didn't really think much about and had bought just to blend in with humans. Answering the phone, she brought it to her ear to hear commotion in the background, but heard the familiar voice on the other line "Lady Esme, are you on route?" The voice on the other side was Soraya, lover of Noxus, a woman who still perplexed her by joining the cause rather than being a Noxus plaything, but she was one of them. "I am heading that way now, will be there in ten minutes," she says before hanging up midway through the other woman speaking, clearly having had enough of socializing for now until she reaches Veyl House.

Mocking Seraph Banner.png96FD46A4-2DD6-46EB-8BFB-6313EEA3F58C.pngSoraya would get off the phone with the woman and turn towards her mate, Noxus, across the room, with people who have partnered with their firm, clients who have come to them for services in private investigation that detail corporate espionage from rival companies, trade secrets, embezzlement, and cybercriminal activities; while on the side, they conduct secret assassination requests for individuals looking to rise in power and betray their bosses. Soraya has met few of the executive partners when her elder peers aren't there to greet them and conduct business like a ruthless businesswoman, as she always has in her past life before becoming a Kaijin, becoming an asset to her new family, a mate to Noxus, her devil. She strolls across the large room within the mansion towards Noxus, a smile on her face that is radiating with so much devotion in it; how her body reacts to his glance and touch is like her skin is on fire. "Darling~" she calls out before hooking her arm around his left one, then leans into him "Aadhya is on her way, ten minutes bound" she whispers into his ear before kissing his cheek,

Noxus was standing among the clients with that same bored, half-lidded expression he wore for most human interaction, one hand in pocket while the other idly turned a glass of something dark, likely wine. He didn’t bother looking at the men droning on about business, he generally hated playing nice for them Aadhya came up with this cover story. In fact if Soraya’s arm didn’t hook through his and her body pressed in, he’d have decided to eat them and be done with it all.

Instead the corner of his mouth twitched, not a smile but something close to it for him. He didn’t pull away. Instead his free hand dropped to the small of her back, fingers spreading wide before sliding lower, palm cupping the curve of her ass through her clothes and giving it a slow, deliberate squeeze that pulled her hips flush against his thigh. The clients kept talking. He didn’t care. He now had something to entertain while he waited for Aadhya to come take over negotiations.

“Ten minutes,” he repeated, voice low and flat as always, but the words carried the edge of his version of hope. He tilted his head just enough for his mouth to brush the shell of her ear, breath warm. “She better hurry up before I eat something in here, maybe you or them.” The threat served as a warning of his boredom but also a sexual innuendo to his mate. His grip tightened, fingers digging in her butt cheek as he spoke. The kiss on his cheek earned a short, rough chuckle against her skin.

Aadhya sat in her limousine, watching the inhabitants go on with their lives while the most dangerous entity drove past them all, not a single human being aware of the danger living among them, living among the hunters and Noktis elite who are sworn to defend the civilians. Aadhya looks to the driver and narrows her eyes at how busy the streets are with people who just arrived from the cruise ship and are crossing the street in droves, which annoys and intrigues her at the amount of humans coming into the island, which will add to the food resources for her kind to feast on without anyone noticing, but they'll have to play smart. Speaking of smart, she remembers how Noxus is with dealing in clients, and that doesn't end well with that man losing patience. "Take another route, gotta cut our detour through this city short and make to the mansion," she orders, and the driver nods and takes another route that takes them around the city center and towards Veyl House, cutting their drive time to five minutes.

Soraya smirks, hearing her mate express his displeasure at waiting and dealing with these humans, but when he mentioned eating the clients, or her in this building, it made the skin grow goosebumps across her body with excitement, especially with how he was using his free hand to roam from the small of her back down to the curve of her ass, full on palming and squeezing it. Bringing a subtle moan from her lips before returning the favor by sliding her free hand to his chest, trailing down to the stomach where his abs are hidden underneath the shirt to his crotch where she grips the "tool" she has loved being used on her when they are alone "Mmm daddy, i wouldn't mind indulging in both" giving his crotch another squeeze then flashes her Kryptid eyes that were violet red with pinprick pupils that shone from the lights above them "Even if master Aadhya gets here in time, i wouldn't mind you fucking my brains out while gorging on human flesh" whispering in his ear then licks the earlobe.

K'Nara had been out for a while, walking around Vanity City doing some shopping for clothes, new accessories, and a new phone case. She had been warned to lay low and try to avoid doing anything in the city that would bring unnecessary attention to her which caused her to return home once she noticed too many Noktis members suddenly walking around. Though in case she was being watched, K'Nara led anyone following into a suburban area and lost them within a surrounding wildlife park. By the time K’Nara returned to Veyl House Inc., the evening lights had begun to replace the sunset across Vanity City. Gold lettering shone above the entrance. She approached beneath it carrying shopping bags in both hands, their glossy sides knocking against her black pants with every step. Her cropped hoodie had slipped slightly off one shoulder beneath the weight of a bag strap, though the white, pointed hood remained comfortably over her twin braids. A pink lollipop rested against the inside of her cheek while she inspected a receipt. The boutique had charged extra for gift wrapping she had neither requested nor received. She folded the offending paper into a tiny square and tucked it away, saving that particular argument for tomorrow.

The glass doors parted before she reached them, releasing a breath of cool air scented with polished wood and expensive flowers. Inside, the lobby was quiet except for the receptionist’s keyboard and the measured splash of water somewhere behind the seating area. K’Nara crossed the marble floor after spending six hours enjoying herself. One bag held new boots, another contained cosmetics, and a third concealed something she had bought solely because a saleswoman claimed it was the last one. She had forgotten what was inside the smallest bag. That usually meant it had been expensive. At the reception desk, she stopped long enough to shift the handles off fingers.

K'Nᴀʀᴀ: Before you ask, yes, all of this was necessary.
Rᴇᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴏɴɪsᴛ Wᴏᴍᴀɴ: I was only going to welcome you back Ma'am.
K'Nᴀʀᴀ: Quite a convenient defense. I think your eyebrows were preparing a statement.

A brief smile escaped the receptionist as she reached beneath the desk to release the private lift. K’Nara rewarded her discretion with a little nod and continued toward the rear of the lobby, leaving the woman to wonder which account would eventually receive the damage. She was halfway past the executive lounge when she heard the two of them talking like a couple horny animals. K’Nara had learned to announce herself from a considerable distance but since they weren't exactly in a private room it didn't really matter if she announced herself or not. K’Nara took the 1792008594525.pnglollipop out of her mouth. Her upper lip tightened, her nose wrinkled, and one eyebrow climbed while the other drew sharply inward. She looked from Noxus’s hand to Soraya’s fingers at his pecker area. The three silver studs beneath her left eye caught the lamplight as she tipped her head back. For a moment, she simply stood there, shopping bags suspended at her sides, allowing the full ugliness of her disgust to settle into place. Neither parent noticed. Their failure to appreciate her suffering made the situation substantially worse.

K'Nᴀʀᴀ: Lovely. Right in the lobby where everyone can see. You two never seem to amaze me with your little.... antics. You two could have also discovered some curtains or something in the last few centuries. It's really hard to be respectful with you two like this. Just take this.

Retrieving the smallest bag and offering it to her mother, Soraya as though this had been the purpose of her visit all along. K’Nara, who was still in uncomfortable situation covered the moment by putting the lollipop back between her lips.

K'Nᴀʀᴀ: Oh, you should tell whoevers out no to draw too much attention. There's an unusual amount of Noktis members here.”
nara emd.png

Noxus’ hand dropped from Soraya’s as he turned, the gesture showed the value of the women to him compared to his daughter, the movement easy. He closed the gap with his daughter and pulled K’Nara in with one arm, bags bumping against his side as he hugged her.

“Hey.”

He eased back but kept a hand at the back of her neck for a second,

“There’s nobody in the city. Noktis are only hanging around the cruise terminal bringing in new students, my eyes down there already checked. Whatever you saw was just regular people or the usual patrols that live here. Nothing came inland.”

He glanced at the pinched look still on her face and the small bag dangling from her fingers, the corner of his mouth lifting.

“You can keep glaring if you want. We’ve done worse in worse places.” He reached up and gently nudged the lollipop stick so it wasn’t jammed against her teeth. “I think your energy would be better spent telling me what your plans are for the rest of the night.”

Aadhya sighs in relief upon seeing the building where her comrades were staying as their headquarters, a place long established by their "King," who desired to keep them all under the radar and closer to their enemies, a strategy she once used during the Anglo-Saxon era, before a time when kin fought kin over a throne, and legitimacy wasn't questioned. Her limousine drove through traffic, then pulled up to the entrance. "You have arrived at your destination, Veyl House International, Madam Knight," the driver announced, to which she courteously nodded, opened the door, and stepped out while holding her phone close to her chest, but decided to slip it into her bra and waltz into the building where she saw the family, Noxus, Soraya, and K'Nara together, but what she really saw was two horndogs unable to stop touching each other while their daughter looked at them with disgust. Aadhya likes the young woman despite living two hundred years among them; she is the anomaly that was successively born into the world, something she has been trying to achieve for centuries, experimenting on humans and Kryptids alike yet yielded no positive results "K'Nara, Soraya, Noxus," she approached the family with open camaraderie she has shown for Noxus since she was converted eons ago, although she has yet to come around to Soraya, but the woman has been useful "Noxus is right; all of Noktis forces are at the docks where the new students are so we can relax for now" she then looks around in the building, taking in the number of humans around before taking the lead "Lets get out of here and unshed these disguises behind closed doors, i know you are dying to get out of here elder brother" she says to Noxus, knowing what kind of beast he is, she stood by and witness carnage that filled the streets with rivers of blood, dismembered and disfigured human soldiers from different eras laid to waste by this devourer, their King's first disciple "We will need to discuss our plan on how we should proceed against the Noktis group" she says which Soraya follows right behind Aadhya after brushing her hand against Noxus chest in affectionate manner before looking forward.

K'nara usually wasn't one to just sit around and do nothing but at this particular time she didn't really have anything else to do that would really excite her. Plus she DID just finish going on a shopping spree so she had plenty of outfits to try on. Her father on the other hand with his remark about doing worse in worse places only made the younger of the Kryptids roll her eyes as she finally returned the hug.

K'Nᴀʀᴀ: I figured, but just in case, I didn't need anyone following me so i took some extra precautions. Not that it really mattered since I could kill almost any of them, but I rather not have gotten any blood on my new clothes. - But as far the rest of the day, outside of trying on what I just bought there's nothing else for me to really do. I think I might just relax for once to be honest.

Shortly after, Aadhya arrive at the Veyl House and spoke to them. Confirming what her father had just said about the Noktis members, she also had some other valuable information on where they were. She had almsot forgotten about that little pass they go every year for the new students who participate in that school. Usually she'd pose as a new student out of boredom and get "killed" once she nolonger wanted to participate. This was honestly the strategy she had to keep gathering information about certain individuals and their battle habits without too much attention being draw to her, or anyone becoming suspicious about her. Especially since one of her abilities required her to feed on the main source of the school and Noktis aggression, Kryptids. However, she also remembered something about that particular area.

K'Nᴀʀᴀ: Right, Greenway Pass. If i'm not mistaken, those 2 outsider Kryptids live somewhere near that area, they normally go to the pass as their feeding grounds. What were their names again? Hmmm.... Crow and Neck... no, the fucking clowns... OH! Krohl and Knell. The amount of times i've ran into them are ridiculous. They rarely even kill their victims, they like to play around with them for whatever reason. Maybe they aren't strong enough to kill anyone.. if that's the case I may eat them next time I see them. You should go down there, maybe there's some new interesting students this time around. Be sure to tell me if it is, if you 2 decide to go anyway. - Also Aadaya, we don't need to plan. We're the strong ones remember, one of us can take on 10 of them together, and that's for some of the weaker ones. You're a category III Calamity, you can probably kill 15 of them yourself on top of a few other students, at least you should be able to. I'm not sure now if you need to come up with a plan. Keeping them around is half the fun, if we plan too much and take them out there won't be anymore entertainment for us here. This Island has been the funnest place we've been. Relax a little..

Aadhya looks over at K'Nara, her brow raised at the thought of planning, which makes the woman chuckle at the young girl's way of thinking. Still, she is aware that this girl hasn't lived as long as Noxus and herself, leaving only their king as the longest-living being in history, and has had longer experience in toppling down organizations, civilizations, and historical evidence of his existence, which allowed him to remain undetected for eons, but the rise of Kryptids has occurred during his time roaming the world. Aadhya walks over to K'Nara and look at her closely and sees the cleverness and strategy of a young warrior, a warrior must follow first "Sure, I can wipe them all out in one fell swoop but to ensure your enemy is defeated, you must play the long game" she taps the girl on the nose "Ensure that your enemy deploys everything they have before striking, killing the strong and letting them see that their meaningless existence and efforts will not amount to nothing against the might of our kind......those that have been slain by Noktis members will become necessary sacrifices for the greater good and you will ascend once you beaten, kill, and devour enough stronger foes until you become the fourth Calamity" she said before turning around walking through the double doors but took noticed that Noxus and Soraya has slipped out the building without a word or sound, this made the woman sighs in annoyance before turning her gaze back to K'Nara "Ya know what, do you wish to spar with me and skip this........human gathering?"
