After everyone finished their meals, Kaelon was tasked with the cleanup duty. He let out a sigh, staring at the mountain of plates. Ban always the helpful one, offered his assistance, meanwhile Shinji sat back and relaxed, letting out a loud burp. Kaelon was grateful for Ban's help, together they quickly started gathering the plates and once they were all collected Ban began to wash the pots and pans. Kaelon" Thanks Ban, you're a lifesaver" Shinji momentarily startled from all the noise from the two speeding around, he finally got off of his butt and surprisingly lending a hand by putting away any remaining level overs and taking trash bag to the garbage disposal area., this was an unpredictable shift in his usual detached demeanor. Together the three of them quickly finished cleaning, the kitchen sparkling clean and their bellies full, the trio was tired but content, each of them said their goodnights and headed off to bed, ready for a good night's sleep.

As Shinji lied in bed, he found himself staring at the ceiling, with a peculiar sensation washing over him. It was something profound, he thought of Kaelon's easy-going nature and Ban's steady presence, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity Shinji truly felt comfortable around people, he was able to be himself without anyone looking at him as if he was some sort of man-eating monster or some crazy psycho. A faint, unfamiliar smile touched his lips as he began drifting into a deep sleep. Ban collapsed into his bed, after the days training and the nice warm home cooked meal left him quite mentally exhausted; within just a few moments he drifted off into a deep sleep. Kaelon, retreated to his personal quarters, not for immediate sleep, but to unwind. He settled into a comfortable position, closing his eyes, and began meditating relaxing his body and mind; he planned to do this for a few hours before getting some rest. It was quiet enough for him to simply continue his meditation, the silence made it easier for him to focus without being distracted although he did notice everyone seemed to be a bit livelier during their final meal of the day; he wondered if everyone would have the same enthusiasm after tomorrow's training.

𝓣here was a strong sense of pride in his haste of correcting himself and soon sat next to him on the opposite side of Kuina. She had just started on her first plate until Kuina said something about being a housewife.

Rayne's face went bright red. Her eyes went wide.Rayne w Fork.png

Then she rolled her eyes and just started eating.

Starting in on her first plate, Rayne's thoughts were finally starting to pull away from the fog of hunger. By her second plate, the hamster wheel started to turn again. By the third, her mind started to work the way she wanted it to. One the fourth plate hit the table in front of her, Rayne finally was able to take her fork and aim it at Kuina. "I am not a housewife."

She stabbed a piece of pork with a smirk, raising it to her mouth and savoring the sauce that coated the sweet morsel. "Besides, we already both know that if I didn't cook, the two of you would be eating cardboard with no flavoring." Rayne couldn't help but grin, clearing away another plate. She reached for her next, wasting no time and already devouring the next set.

About fifteen plates later and Rayne was finally to a point she was nearly full but didn't want to overstuff herself. She saw the effects of that on Kaelon far too many times. Speaking of, she watched him go around and collect the many many plates from the Saiyans, being his, hers, Zhongli's and one of the trainees. Good thing she made plenty.

Eventually, she looked back at Zhongli, nearly antsy with anticipation. "So, what is the training for tomorrow?" She sat there with her hands folding together, elbows on the table and tucked under her chin to keep her head up. She was practically buzzing with anticipation.
